Cowichan Valley Service Update March 19

BC Transit, the Cowichan Valley Regional District and our local transit staff are continuing to work to ensure we have service on the road for customers that need to get to work, including health care facilities, and going out for groceries or other needs.

We are implementing rear door boarding in to enhance social distancing for drivers and passengers for the next 30 days. Passengers can still load through the front door if they require use of the ramp or other accessible features of the bus.

New transit operations and maintenance centre opens in Cowichan Valley

COWICHAN VALLEY – A new transit operations and maintenance facility was officially opened today for the Cowichan Valley Regional Transit System. The new 4.5 acre site, located at 5271 Boal Road in Duncan, will accommodate a fleet of up to 50 buses that support local conventional and handyDART services, as well as the Cowichan Valley commuter routes, which provide service to Victoria.
