Interim President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Erinn Pinkerton is the Interim President and CEO. Prior to her appointment she was the Vice President of Business Development and Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) and led Corporate Planning, Sales, Marketing and Communications, Information Technology and the Transit Planning and Scheduling teams for BC Transit.
Since 2008, Ms. Pinkerton has been instrumental in delivering improved transit service to over 130 communities across B.C. She has led the development and public consultation efforts for numerous multi-million dollar capital projects and transportation plans, including Transit Future Plans, Victoria Regional Rapid Transit project, Highway 16 service introduction and Kelowna Rapid Bus. In addition, Ms. Pinkerton led the overall development of the strategic plan and implementation of all corporate planning activities including strategic analysis, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence and revenue generation.
Ms. Pinkerton is committed to making transit services more responsive, convenient and accessible to all customers and has been leading many initiatives, including the smart bus technology project which introduces real-time bus information, automated stop announcements and closed circuit TV cameras onboard each bus.
Ms. Pinkerton has over 17 years of experience in the transportation industry and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Masters of Business Administration.
Vice President, Operations and Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Brian joined BC Transit in 2010 as the Vice President, Business Development to ensure that people, processes and technology aligned with corporate business strategy. Assuming the role of VP, Operations in March 2014, he is responsible for strategic oversight of the expansion and deployment of services across the 130 communities served by BC Transit. Brian is committed to maintaining a culture of safety and operational excellence to ensure that employees, customers, transit partners and other stakeholders continue to enjoy best-in-class services.
Brian has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria and is a Certified Management Accountant. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter or woodworking.
Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Secretary
Greg joined BC Transit in 2015 with 25 years of experience in human resources and labour relations. As the Vice President of Human Resources and Corporate Secretary, Greg is responsible for leading strategies to support BC Transit’s Human Resources Action Plan in the key areas of talent management, culture, labour relations and policies and procedures.
Greg has worked at a number of public and private sector organizations, including the Province of B.C., Camosun College and HP in senior level roles. In addition to being an active volunteer with the United Way and Make a Wish, Greg has taught at the University of Victoria’s School of Business and the School of Public Administration. Greg is also a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail’s Nine to Five workplace advice column.
Vice President, Asset Management
As the Vice President of Asset Management, Aaron is responsible for the management of BC Transit's provincial fleet and fixed assets (and, as of 2014, environment and climate action). Aaron joined BC Transit in 2000 as a fleet engineer and has held a number of positions, including: Maintenance Planner, Manager of Fleet Engineering and Director of Vehicle Asset Management.
Aaron Lamb graduated from the University of Victoria with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Aaron also holds a MBA from Royal Roads University.
Acting Vice President of Business Development
As the Acting Vice President of Business Development, Christy is focused on the development of the company’s strategic priorities, including service planning and scheduling, communications and marketing, sales and revenue, information systems and smart technology. Christy has an extensive background in strategic planning and project implementation, but leading people is her passion.
Christy joined BC Transit in 2008 as the Manager of Capital Programs, she then held the position of Director, Corporate and Strategic Planning. Prior to this Christy worked with BC Buildings Corporation and BC Ferries. Christy has an undergraduate degree from the University of Victoria and is currently enrolled in the Masters of Public Administration program. In her spare time, you will find her spending time with her family or enjoying the outdoors.
Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Alan is responsible for all financial management functions and oversight within the company including accounting, financial planning, financial operations and treasury. He also engages in enterprise-wide strategic planning, sharing accountability for the overall achievement of the organization’s results. Prior to joining BC Transit in August 2015, Alan worked in both the private and public sectors including BC Emergency Health Services and Aspreva Pharmaceuticals in Victoria. He is a Certified Management Accountant, with a MBA from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Ontario.
In his spare time, Alan serves on the Board for the Victoria International Festivals’ Society and Beacon Hill Little League Baseball.
