Santa Clause Parade - Sunday Nov. 17,2019

The annual Santa Claus Parade will be held in downtown Kamloops beginning at 4 pm on Sunday, November 17th. Many downtown streets will be closed beginning as early as 11 am and will affect the routing of all bus routes.
Effective 3:45 pm the Lansdowne Bus Exchange will be closed and all departures and arrivals will be relocated to a temporary Exchange on St. Paul Street between 5th and 6th Ave. All passengers will be arriving and departing from the temporary Exchange between 3:45 pm and lasting until approx. 6 pm.
Beginning at 11 am until 6 pm, all bus stops on 3rd Ave between Columbia Street and Seymour Street will be closed. Inbound buses will use 4th Ave when 3rd Ave is closed at 11 am. All inbound buses will stop at Royal Inland Hospital on Columbia Street and will use 4th Ave instead of 3rd Ave. A Temporary Stop will be located on 4th Ave northbound at St. Paul Street.
Beginning at 11 am until 6 pm, all bus stops on Battle Street between 3rd Ave and Strathcona Terrace both inbound and outbound will be closed on the #7 Aberdeen-Battle route.
Beginning at 3:30 pm all outbound stops on Lansdowne Street between the Lansdowne Exchange and the Overlander Bridge will be closed. Beginning at 3:30 pm all inbound stops on West Victoria Street and Seymour Street will be closed from the Overlander Bridge to 4th Avenue.
Beginning at 3:30 pm the stop on 4th Ave between Seymour Street and St. Paul Street will be closed. Passengers should use the next stop to the south at 4th and Battle Street.
All passengers traveling to the Parade with children in strollers are reminded there are restrictions on the number of strollers aboard each bus. Passengers may wish to consider alternate forms of transportation to ensure they are able to attend.
