Service Change – April 2021

Starting April 6, 2021, transit customers in Whistler can expect regular seasonal services changes to take effect in the Whistler Transit System.

BC Transit and the Resort Municipality of Whistler work hard to match service with ridership demand, which is why we offer more service in the winter and summer and less in the spring and fall.

The start of the seasonal Spring-Summer-Fall service change will include an increase on the route 10 Valley Express from winter service levels. In addition, route 7 Staff Housing Complimentary Shuttle times, sponsored by Whistler Blackcomb from Nov 21, 2020 to April 5, 2021, has come to an end for the season. Regular fares apply.

There will also be seasonal discontinuation of the route 4 Marketplace, 20X Cheakamus Express and 32 Emerald (via Spruce Grove) beginning on April 18, 2021, all other routes in the Whistler Transit System will also operate on reduced service levels.
